Enjoy wine tastings, great chocolate and beautiful gardens in this all-inclusive tour. Your tour starts out at your ship, where you board a bus for the stunning Butchart Gardens.
Along your narrated drive, see downtown Victoria, Inner Habour, the majestic Legilsative Buildings, the historic Empress Hotel and Chinatown’s Gates of Harmonious Interest.
Butchart Gardens is a 55 acre wonderland of flowers, rare trees, winding paths and fountains. Make sure to bring a camera to capture the Sunken Garden, Japanese, Italian and English Rose gardens. Learn how a rock quarry turned into this beautiful garden. Maps direct you on a self-guided tour of the themed gardens.
Depart the gardens for a winery where you can sample wine paired with chocolate truffles. As you return to your ship, see the city aglow with lights.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Participants must be aged at least 19 years old and carry valid photo ID.
- Due to limited daylight hours in September, this tour may not be available on all voyages.
- Wine and chocolate pairing consists of 4 sample glasses of wine and 3 chocolate truffles.
- Tour can accommodate guests who are confined to a wheelchair. Passengers with disabilities must contact their cruise ship's onboard Tour Office at least 48 hours in advance to ensure arrangements can be made to meet their particular needs.
