Two Tank Certified Dive

At the cruise terminal, a tour representative will meet the you and assist you in completing the necessary waivers. Thereafter, you will be guided to the dive boat for a 2-tank dive trip.

The boat ride to the first dive site takes approximately 45 minutes and will be a wreck dive at the ‘'Antilla'' referred to locally as the ghost ship. The Antilla is a German freighter that was scuttled by the Germans in 1945. The Antilla is the largest wreck ion the Caribbean (400 feet long) and was sunk when it was brand new. Covered by giant tube sponges and coral formations, the Antilla is surrounded by lobsters and many kinds of tropical fish. The Antilla dive has a maximum depth of 60 feet for approximately 40 minutes bottom time. On this dive the group will be split up into smaller groups and guided by a dive master or dive instructor.

After 20 minutes surface interval, the second dive will take place on the shallow wreck of the ‘'Pedernalis''. The Pedernalis is an oil tanker torpedoed by a German submarine during the Second World War. The wreck's several large pieces are spread out between coral formations; making visible the complete wreck cabins, wash basins, lavatories, etc., as well as the tankers pipeline system. The area around the Pedernalis wreck is known for its many types of groupers and its bounty of angel fish. The Pedernalis dive has a maximum depth of 25 feet for approximately 40 minutes. Again, on this dive the guests will be split into the same smaller groups of the first dive and guided by a dive master or dive instructor.

The total length of the dive trip will be approximately 3 ½ to 4 hours long.
