Start with a cruise in a luxury high-speed catamaran into the heart of Misty Fjords. Bring your camera to capture an active eagle’s nest, a mysterious Native pictograph and Punchbowl Cove. Your onboard naturalist will point out New Eddystone Rock, a volcanic plug rising 237 feet out of the water. As you enjoy an assortment of snacks and beverages, learn about the wild and marine life in the area as well as about the area’s history. Keep your eyes open for bears, mountain goats, timber wolves, seals, sea lions, orcas, and humpback whales.
When you reach a secluded clove, transfer to an authentic Alaskan floatplane. Take off and enjoy the thrill of an entirely new prospective of the Fjords. On the return trip to Ketchikan, enjoy a panoramic view of the city and your ship before experiencing a water landing.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

- This flight has no weight surcharge.
- This tour may operate in reverse order, with the flight first and the return journey back to Ketchikan by boat.
- Participants must be able to step up from the dock and over bill rail to board vessel and walk down 150’ ramp and dock.
- Morning departures feature a continental breakfast of bagels, muffins, cream cheese, peanut butter, berry jam, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice.
- Afternoon departures feature a lunch of clam chowder, smoked salmon, rolls, berry jam, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and water.
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by parent or guardian, under 18 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without parent or guardian.
