Tatoosh Islands Kayak Adventure
Enjoy a guided adventure in the Tongass National Forest! Your tour begins with a narrated drive to Knudson Cove.
Here, board an inflatable motorboat for a ride to the Tatoosh Islands. Once you arrive at the base camp, get geared as your guides give you an instruction class and safety briefing. You will be paddling out of two-person kayaks from the beach. Enjoy paddling around this unique island environment.
Keep you eyes out for bald eagles, seals, land otters and sea lions. This is truly the opportunity of a lifetime as you explore the environment of the Tatoosh Islands.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Guests must have upper body strength.
- Rain gear, dry bags for cameras, double and triple kayaks, spray skirt, paddle, life jacket and safety gear are provided.
- Cookies, hot drinks and water are included.
- Minimum age to participate on this tour is 8 years old.
- Guests must not exceed 6’7” or 250 lbs.
