Travel with your guide to the Haines Brewing Company. This microbrewery is located in the gold rush town of Dalton City - a film set created for the 1989 Walt Disney film "White Fang." The Haines Brewing Company is Alaska's smallest brewery with an annual production of 300 barrels. Meet the brewmeister and sample some of their beers such as Dalton Trail Ale and Eldred Rock Amber.
Drive through downtown Haines, historic Fort William H. Seward and on to Dejon Delights. Learn how experts smoke their catch using smoldering Alaska birch and black cottonwood and taste one-of-a-kind recipes such as Lookout Stout-smoked salmon and lemon-peppered smoked halibut. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Participants must be 21 years of age and carry valid photo ID to sample beer.
- Tour can accommodate guests with limited mobility as long as they can handle steps to move into and out of mode of transportation and walk very short distances.
- Local smoked halibut, smoked salmon and micro-brewed beer is provided.
