Experience this unique tour which gives you the opportunity to create your own glass art. The tour begins with a short drive to Jewell Gardens.
Your guide will provide a private orientation of the show garden and hot shop, where you will learn the ancient art of glass blowing. Take your turn at creating an ornament to hang in a window or on your Christmas tree. You choose what it will look like with different color combinations and patterns before you blow the glass. You’ll have the opportunity to incorporate 24K of gold into the glass for a dazzling effect. Don’t worry about keeping your glass safe for the rest of the trip; shipping your glass home is included in the tour price!
After creating your ornament, enjoy a relaxing tea service, lunch or light dinner (depending on the time of day). Your meal includes fresh ingredients from the garden including a glass of beer or wine.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Minimum age is 7.
- Guests are advised to wear natural fiber clothing and closed toe shoes.
- Meal is included.
- Guests who wish to consume alcohol must bring a valid ID that shows they are at least 21 years old.
- Protective eyewear, sterilized individual mouthpieces, protective lab coats, shipping of your glass ornament to your home is included.
