Your journey begins with touring Skagway's historic downtown area filled with wooden boardwalks with false fronted buildings as your driver/guide shares stories about the famous and foolhardy who lived in Skagway during the gold rush. Travel by motorcoach 3,290 feet above sea level to the White Pass Summit, which runs parallel to the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad, while your driver/guide recalls the hardships and daily life struggles of the stampeders. While following in the footsteps of early gold seekers, view the historical areas of Brackett Wagon Road, Pitch Fork Falls, Dead Horse Gulch, and the infamous Tormented Valley. Stop at the Yukon Suspension Bridge at Tutshi Canyon, where you can view interpretive displays detailing the history of the area and cross the suspension bridge 57 feet above rushing rapids!
